Why did he have to do it?
Why play with God's will?
Why try changing things that were created?
It began as a speck but it brews within him still
He tried to do good
Tried to rid the world of it
He tried to inject the silent killer with good
But one can't live with the silent killer nor without it
Alas the antidote did not work
And it grew silently within him as the silent killer it is
It was not brought in by a stork
But a manifestation of the mind is what it is
It chokes one from the inside
For the silent killer is a python wrapped around its victim
So attached; from it, no one can hide
